- We recommend you use a general purpose 18V battery drill with a minimum torque of 50NM.
- Your drill must be operated with the clutch function activated.
- DO NOT USE an impact driver, hammer drill or air tool.
- We use MULTI-LITH EP2 grease.
- Any truck or farm grease will work on the unit.
- The BOS Products are covered by a 5-year warranty.
- Try and keep the unit as clean as possible.
- Grease unit annually or if travelling constantly roughly every 3 months.
- To grease units, place grease gun over grease nipple and give 2-3 pumps when unit is retracted.
- To protect the red cover keep the black weather cover over unit where possible.
- Our units come standard with a base plate as it is the most effective way to store your van.
- We find it more beneficial as you don’t move your 2T+ Van around with a jockey unit.
- Yes, you can travel with your BOS unit attached.
- Make sure you lock in the bottom lynch pin.
- Travel with the unit on the lowest rib.
- The BOS standard jockey units can go into any standard 50mm Clamp.
- If your van has a 60mm clamp you will need to look at the BOS Black Ops range.
- We have a range or security screws that can replace clamp handles and bolts to make your unit more secure and less easy to steal.
- No, the BOS jockey units are made as a jockey unit only.
- BOS Stabiliser legs can replace your jack.
- Yes, you always need to make sure you chock the van.
- When raising the van with your BOS legs this is done in increments to keep the strain of the chassis and keeps the weight even.
- You will need the contact of the tyres with the chocks and ground.
